In a world that is always looking for the next distraction and moving at an alarming pace to find it, I invite you to pause, reflect, and appreciate the value of the fleeting moment.
My latest fine art photography exhibition, Simply Fleeting, opens at Artspace, Woodbridge, from 15th – 21st May and invites all visitors to explore the beauty of impermanence within the poetry of movement.

With a unique photographic style, my latest exhibition invites viewers to pause, reflect, and engage with the unnoticed details that surround them.
Inspired by the fragility of time and with a personal motto of “always look up,” I created a series of fine art photographic images to document time in suspension and chose a local Suffolk Professional Ballerina, Sophie Wright of The London Ballet Company, to be my muse.
Her movement, in dance, when captured, I knew, would perfectly represent my story.
Her strength, yet grace and fragility, suspended for a split second, makes you aware of how we can see a movement but not really see the form and power behind it, just like time, and then that moment is gone.

The contrast between what we see on the surface and what may be behind it, and how time also moves at such a pace. That second in time is captured forever.
The images highlight the poetry within the captured moment of movement, encouraging others to slow that down and start asking the question, just how fragile and Simply Fleeting is time?
Simply Fleeting is also a personal reminder to carve out time for creative exploration.
Whilst as a full-time commercial photographer I get to be creative in my job, for those of us in the world of professional photography, it can be hard to make time to recharge and appreciate our own passions. This personal project and exhibition help me stay connected with the simple joy of photography, reminding me of what drew me to it in the first place.

From unexpected angles, the use of space and light around the images, to how the images are displayed, the viewer is able to appreciate the movement and moment being captured, without distraction.
I believe that time is both precious and fragile—perhaps that’s why I am drawn to photography. It allows us to capture what might otherwise be lost, preserving those brief, unrepeatable instances.

Simply Fleeting will be open to the public at Artspace, Woodbridge, from 15th – 21st May and will then be exhibited at Dance East in Ipswich for the month of July 2025.
