Robert H. Miller is an award-winning photojournalist and National Geographic author based in Canton, Michigan. With a career spanning over five decades, he has traveled to more than 70 countries, capturing compelling human stories through his lens. Miller’s notable works include Hidden Hell: Discovering My Father’s POW Diary, Portraits of Service: Looking into the Faces of Veterans, and Veterans Voices: Remarkable Stories of Heroism, Sacrifice, and Honor, co-authored with Andrew Wakeford. His photography has been instrumental in shedding light on the experiences of veterans and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa and Botswana.
Beyond his photographic endeavors, Miller is recognized as an international expert in automotive lighting design. He continues to undertake special photo assignments worldwide and has published numerous short stories reflecting his experiences. Miller resides in Canton with his wife, Colleen, and is a proud father of five and grandfather of eight.
