Susan Platt is a fine art photographic artist from Stockton, California, whose passion for photography began at the age of eight when her brother gifted her a Kodak Brownie Box film camera. This early interest led her to pursue photography classes in high school, where she contributed to the school newspaper and served as the photo editor of the yearbook. Her professional journey spans 37 years, encompassing roles from photographic assistant and staff photographer at a portrait studio to owning her own portrait and wedding studio and ultimately focusing on fine art photography.
Platt’s work has been published in Pet Life Magazine and Craft & Vision Magazine. Her photographs have been exhibited at PhotoLA, various venues throughout California, and internationally, including the Foto Nostrum Gallery in Barcelona, Spain. Her portfolio showcases a deep connection to the natural world, with a particular emphasis on wild horses, reflecting her dedication to preserving their spirit through her art.
