Cliff Mautner is a Philadelphia-area and New Jersey photographer known for wedding, portrait, and event photography shaped by an authentic, dramatic visual style. Based in Haddonfield, New Jersey, he works throughout the Philadelphia region, New Jersey, New York, and beyond, and describes his photographs as being built through light, dimension, anticipation, texture, mood, emotion, and technical skill. Over the past two decades, he has photographed more than 1,200 weddings, while also creating portraits, headshots, branding imagery, and event coverage.
Before moving into weddings, Mautner spent 15 years as a photojournalist with The Philadelphia Inquirer, completing thousands of assignments that helped shape the observational strength of his work. He was named a Nikon Ambassador in 2012, has been recognized among the top wedding photographers in the world by American Photo Magazine, and has received major honors from WPPI and the International Photographic Council. Alongside his client work, he has also become a widely respected educator, teaching his Lighting and Skillset Bootcamp since 2007 and sharing his knowledge with more than 1,000 students from 42 countries.
