Eric Chan is a Senior Principal Scientist at Adobe, where he plays a pivotal role on the Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom teams. Over the years, he has developed — or contributed to — a broad array of image-processing features, including Highlights & Shadows, Clarity, Dehaze, Camera Profiles, Lens Corrections, Upright perspective correction, and GPU acceleration.
Beyond his software work, Eric Chan is a dedicated photographer. Under the name MadManChan Photography, he shares a substantial portfolio of nature, landscape, wildlife, urban, macro (details), black-and-white, and even feline portrait photography.
He is also musically inclined — he enjoys playing the piano when he isn’t immersed in code or behind the camera.
