Nicolas Castermans is a multi-award-winning travel and documentary photographer. He has recently been awarded 1st place at the Eyeshot Open Call 2024 for his long-term project “Breath of Modernity.” He was a finalist in the “Travel Photographer Of The Year” Awards in 2020 and 2021 and was Commended in 2022 in the “Cultures” category. He has also been awarded in many other international contests – “The Independent Photographer,” “Life Framer,” “Siena International Photo Awards,” 500px – judged by iconic photographers such as Steve Mc Curry, Ami Vitale, and other acclaimed artists from prestigious agencies like National Geographic, Time, The Guardian.
Their numerous adventures—whether on foot, skis, or motorcycle—have led his wife and Nicolas to proudly become ambassadors for Jack Wolfskin Poland, representing their outdoor and technical hiking/skiing apparel, Atomic Poland for high-performance ski equipment, and Shima Poland for premium motorcycle gear.
Nicolas and his wife have been running a travel agency in Peru since 2016.
