On today’s episode of the FRAMES Photography Podcast W. Scott Olsen is talking to Stuart Graham, photographer from the UK, one of the most respected members of the FRAMES community, known predominantly for his outstanding seascape images.

Stuart Graham was born in Newcastle in the north east of England. When he was 13, his big brother showed him his new camera: a Zenith E. After warning him not to drop it he let him have a hold. That was it.
He knew from that moment that he wanted to become a professional photographer.
At 17 Stuart left school and annoyed a local commercial studio into letting him hang around and sweep the floors. A few months later he was assisting and printing the black and white stuff.
His career since then has covered most branches of photography and has allowed him to see a lot of the world. He has owned and managed several studios, and trained about 30 men and women to become professionals in their own right.
“Shooting landscapes, and especially seascapes, however, is another ball game.”, says Stuart. It is by far THE most challenging of all the genres.
