“Tranquility” by Tomislav Borisov

We all need time for ourselves. To be alone with ourselves. Sometimes.

I used these few hours on the last day of November to give someone a present.

On that day I went to the forest. My Forest. I wanted to make my loved one happy. She is going through a difficult time and I wanted to make her feel good. She is far away, going through a difficult time, and I wanted her to feel at peace when she looked at this image. To feel loved. When we love someone – we should be ready to do anything for that person. Even with such a small gesture – a simple photo. Small gestures show our thoughts and feelings, our intentions.

I was not alone in the forest that day. It was quiet, it was raining, and on my mind was the woman I love. I didn’t think about the cold, about the wind, not about myself. Just for her, and how to make her happy.

Through the photos we take – we can do anything. More than we can even imagine. Each photo has a different value, a different message that the average viewer has no idea about. And every viewer sees what he wants. Every true photographer or artist leaves a part of himself in his work. When he creates something from the heart – it always works. Photography is a form of communication.

If today each of us manages to make someone happy – the day was worth it. And if that someone is the person we care about and love – the feeling is priceless.

To be honest, it’s hard for me to talk about my photography.
Photography gives me freedom. Freedom to be happy. Editing too.

Through this image I say – I love you. Everything will be fine.

I promise.

What do you think are the TWO most impactful features that make your image a good photograph? Don’t be shy!

Photography is my path.
My imagination is the ticket.

If I create an image, a scene, a story, something that can touch you and send you into another world – my job is done.

When you are there, in that place… You can and feel everything. You can feel love, fear, joy. Even confusion. All kinds of emotions, but in the end you will know – Everything will be fine. And later, if you want to go back, go. You have your own ticket for a place where Happiness loves silence.

Love and Happiness – the two most impactful features in this image.

If you would be able to make this photo once again, what would be the ONE thing you would like to do better or different?

We must follow our hearts. I’m following mine and it will always be like that. There’s no turning back.

What a great story behind the image. A photograph taken just to make another person happy or feel better. That is a new point of view. Thanks for sharing it.

Not sure if Tomislav’s storytelling and artistic vision fascinate me more than this fabulous picture. While in this sort of futile doubt, I enjoy every aspect of this fantastic short article.
